Describe Yourself:Good sense of humor, good listener, love good conversation, good friends. I am confident and have respect for myself and others. I'm an optimist with my feet firmly planted in reality. I am a very loyal person and detest fickle, pessimists, and petty. I am an observer and see the nuances--they intrigued me. I like peace not particularly fond of discord. I'm by no means a pushover. I can and do stand up for myself but realize that not every battle is life and death, so I pick my battles and win the war, lol!
I have a 14 year old son, who is my greatest blessing in life. He is creative, funny, smart, opinionated (haven't a clue where he got that), and convinced that he knows everything (THAT comes with his age bracket, which I hope he outgrows fast so he gets to see his 18th birthday, lol!).
I work full time presently and am the Marketing Director of our firm. I also do some marketing for a few small publishing companies. -

Favorite Music, Artists, Genres:I am eclectic in music. Much of it depends on my mood at the time. I listen to pop top ten-hey, I have a 13 year old, lol! But I like everything from Linkin Park and Blue October to Pavarotti-he has a gorgeous voice. I love instrumental, especially new age. My sis and I take in a good symphony periodically and absolutely adore Spanish guitar--I play a bit too--would love to play like Ottmar Liebert. The man is phenomenal.

Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:Gone with the Wind, The White Dragon-the whole series actually (McCaffery) Trust Me-Krentz, The Godfather, Rosehaven-Coulter, The Guardian and The Gift-Garwood., Christine Feehan, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Norah Roberts, Christina Dodd, Jayne Ann Krentz, (actually I will buy the book on their names alone) Toni Blake, Robert Ludlum, Dean Koontz, and Susan Wiggs. Catherine Coulter and Julie Garwood's historicals, some of their current stuff. Love Anne McCaffery, Andre Norton, Robert Heinlein, Dean Foster , Some of Ken Follet and Tom Clancy-depends on the story line.
-
Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres:Under the Tuscan Sun, The Lake House, Jackie Chan Movies, Lord of the Rings, Pearl Harbor, Gladiator, Always, Above the Law, Monster in Law, Fifty First Dates and actually like most of Drew Barrymores movies. Love Peter Sellers Pink Panther. Princess Bride is an all time favorite. Enjoyed the Potter Movies and Pirates of the Carribean.

Atlantis P., Feb 10, 2009, 9:53AM ESTYeah, we had fun ….Keeps the marriage fresh you know !
I am actually going to Paris , I landed a writing gig , I’ll be ghost writing for a guy ( he’s in his 80 and very curmudgeonly ) but he is writing his memoirs and apparently he helped launch Sarkozy’s political career many years ago. An old art teacher of mine introduced me to the old guy I’ll be writing for .
Oh, and apparently Sarkozy doesn’t want to remember him….Should be interesting -
Atlantis P., Feb 10, 2009, 9:36AM ESTThanks so much for stopping by my photos sweet Sia !!!
I am getting ready to leave to France and we figured we’d celebrate Valentine’s early….Well it’s an excuse to get away and use those Hilton points for one night ….
Actually it was funny , because at the front desk we had to use the credit card for some extra expenses and I gave the girl my credit card which has a different name than my husband’s (I kept my name in the marriage ) so she thought that I am his mistress and before we left she gave him such a pitiful look, kind of like “you bastard , I know what you’re doing ….” Funny .. -
